Qu’ils reposent en révolte (Des figures de guerre I), shot over a period of 3 years (July 2007 - January 2010), shows the life conditions of migrants in Calais. It shows how the policies commited to by modern states extend beyond the framework of the law and give rise to spaces where the lines are blurred between exceptions to the rule and rules. Individuals find themselves treated like criminals, they're stripped of their most basic rights and reduced to a state of "bare life."
