Ciraulo family lives in the miserable district of Palermo called "Zen". But they own a luxury black Volvo car. The wonder was bought with "Serenella's money", the compensation which they received following the death of their child, caught e in the middle of a shootout between mafia gangsters. But Tancredi, the son, went out with his girlfriend and has injured the car door. It does not seem a serious damage, but the father assaulted his son with violence, and the young boy, to defend himself, killed him. A hyper-realistic, surreal, metaphysical noir.
