synopsis
A German boy, Jan, spends his vacation on a freight ship with his uncle Fiete, who is captain of the ship. During the voyage Jan discovers a stowaway on board: Newena, a young girl form ex-Yugoslavia. Intrigued by this mysterious girl, Jan keeps his discovery a secret.
