Leo is a widowed working-class father who struggles to raise his two motherless children: Elia (who is skipping school absorbed in secretly raising a stork), and his teenager sister who, unbeknownst to herself, has been tagged as a porn star in the internet. To help his daughter out of her unpleasant plight, Leo ends up in the office of a shady lawyer, where he meets Diana a budding artist that’s decorating the place. The coming and goings of Leo, his children, Diana and a fresco of friends and passers-by, are followed with a critical and highbrowed eye by the statues in the square, in a dreamy atmosphere of a misty Turin.
