During a burglary Jenny tells her boyfriend Frank that she is pregnant. Frank proposes to her on the spot. The burglary goes down badly: instead of a small bag of marijuana they were looking for, they find several kilos of heroin. In the gunfight that ensues, Jenny shoots two people. One of them is Frank. After serving 10 years in prison for murder, Jenny returns to society. She wants to live a quiet life and resume her responsibilities as a mother, but soon shadows from the past start to appear.
