Vendula, a young and upcoming artist, becomes acquainted with her future partner and husband Martin. They start a family together and have two girls of preschool age and one boy, a toddler. Martin builds his career in a company developing toys and Vendula takes care of the family. And this leads to a daily grind, where they stop paying attention to each other in the rush of daily obligations. Both are doing their utmost for the family, while both feel unappreciated by the other. Events take a change of course when they make a wager.
