BIANCA COME IL LATTE, ROSSA COME IL SANGUE

by Giacomo Campiotti

synopsis

Leo is a simple sixteen year old boy: he loves chatting with friends, playing soccer, riding on a scooter and lives in perfect harmony with his iPod. The hours spent in school are a torture, the professors "a protected species that i hope is extinguished permanently." Thus, when a new professor of history and philosophy arrives, he is preparing to welcome him with cynicism. But this young teacher is different: the light shines in the eyes when he speaks, when he encourages students to live intensely, to seek their dream. Leo feels within himself the strength of a lion, but there is an enemy that terrifies him: white colour. White is the absence, everything in his life that is about the deprivation and loss is white. The red, on the other hand, is the color of love, passion, blood, red is the color of the hair of Beatrice. Because Leo's got a dream and is called Beatrice, although she still does not know.
