synopsis

Kentaro left his home town only a short while ago. He's settled in a village near Kyoto and works in a dye workshop. He carries out little chores for the village inhabitants and helps farmers to harvest their crops. As encounters and odd jobs go by, he discovers new ways of living and wonders about his role in this community where time flows in a different way. One sunny fall day, he sets out with Yukiko, an elderly, playful and quiet woman, for a walk in the forest...
