FLOWERY EDEN
synopsis
A period of time, the 40s, seen through the eyes of a group of adolescents who learnt from their books that gentlemen were Christian and Spanish, women were demure and hard-working in the home and the "reds" were thieves and murderers. Memories of grim years, which seems so far away now but were, in fact, just the day before yesterday.
