PARIS À TOUT PRIX

by Reem Kherici

synopsis

Maya, a Moroccan woman who has been living in Paris for 20 years, is a fashion It Girl. On the rise, she is about to sign a long-term contract as a designer in the fashion house where she has been working for some time. But, during a chance identity paper check, the police discover that her work visa has expired and in less than 24 hours, she finds herself back in Morocco surrounded by her family, two things she wanted to forget. It's a culture shock. Maya will do anything she can to get back to France. Anything. What happens when the future of a trendy Parisian woman becomes the nightmare of an immigrant without a visa.
