synopsis
At fifty years of age, Louis Gravet would like to become a comic actor. His director brother Pierre has the idea of casting him in the lead role in a comedy. Family circumstances, their wives, their children and a niece get in the way, however, and in the end they decide to make another film, taking them in a new and unexpected direction.
