At the age of 17 Eleni leaves the island of Karpathos. Twenty years later she is living in Los Angeles with her husband and children, and her life seems happy until the day that her childhood sweetheart Aris comes to America from the island looking for her. She must make a difficult decision: leave all she has and follow her dream or to stay in America but without her husband.
