Daan, a delicatessen owner, is not amused when stuck-up Katje opens her high fashion store across the street. When Katje starts to fall for his charming personality and delicious food, Daan stoically rejects all her efforts to connect. But in order to show him the real girl beneath her fashion persona she sends him a message with a fake online dating profile. Daan enjoys the correspondence with this sensitive, witty girl, but when he wants to meet in person, things get complicated.
