synopsis
It is 1919, one year since resurgent nationalism brought about the collapse of the Habsburg's dual monarchy of the former Austrian-Hungarian empire. Austria and Hungary have been proclaimed republics and the new state of Czechoslovakia has been created. Traditional ways of life are changing beyond recognition and the new post World War I era brings obstacles, challenges and opportunities.
