HOME SWEET HOME

by Stéphane Meunier

synopsis

Saint-Loin La Mauderne, a small village hit hard by the financial crisis and desertification. Its last hope: to get the salmon smoking factory up and running again. The only problem is that the insurance company demands that a live-in doctor be present. The last one retired five years earlier and a replacement has never been found. With Germain, the village's gruff but charismatic mayor, in the lead, the inhabitants will do everything to convince the very Parisian doctor Maxime Meyer that Saint-loin-la-Mauderne is the place to be!
