MAX ET LENNY
by Fred Nicolas
synopsis
Max and Lenny is the story of a friendship between two girls fighting for survival in a northern area of Marseille. Lenny lives with her brother. Left alone, she has two obsessions : to retrieve her daughter, a child that she has had too early, and rap, the only way for her to escape from everyday life. One evening, when she sings in secret, Lenny meets Maxine, a young undocumented Congolese who stopped short in front of her voice. The two girls soon adopt each other.
