synopsis
An adaptation of Thomas Hardy’s classic romance Far From the Madding Crowd, telling the story of Bathsheba Everdene, who inherits a farmhouse in Weatherbury. As she spends time in the farm, the independent and headstrong Bathsheba captivates a simple sheep farmer, a handsome and reckless Sergeant, and a prosperous and mature bachelor. This timeless story of Bathsheba’s choices and passions explores the nature of relationships and love – as well as the human ability to overcome hardships through resilience and perseverance.
