WE ARE X
synopsis
X Japan are the long time kings of Japanese glam rock; avatars of Japan’s youth-movement ‘visual kei’, the band has had a seismic effect on Japanese culture through their Xmania fan-base.Their shows are an amalgam of Bowie, Iron Maiden and the Sex Pistols – a kitsch overkill frenzy of fluorescent mascara sneers and severe posturing.
