synopsis
Our story begins at the end of the 19th century, as 20-year-old Valentine is getting married to Jules. At the end of the following century, his great-granddaughter is running across a bridge and ends up in the arms of the man she loves. In between these two moments, various men and women meet, fall in love and embrace during an entire century, thus fulfilling romantic destinies, and sow the seeds of a family tree, an eternity...
