DAD IN TRAINING
synopsis
Antoine, approaching forty, dilettante, egoist, and unsatisfied, has never really felt a true mission to take care of his daughters, aged 5 and 9. Treated like a child by his wife Alice, Antoine can't manage to find a place in his home and suddenly decides to leave for an affair with no tomorrow. When Alice leaves their daughters with him for a few days by surprise, Antoine finds himself on unknown territory. Incapable of assuming the father role within the family unit, he will end up by becoming a genuine "Jewish mother." After leaving his wife due to nostalgia for his former freedom, the new Antoine will find himself confronted by a new nostalgia - for family life.
