THE EAVESDROPPER
synopsis
The story revolves around a character named Duval, who is unemployed and facing financial ruin following his burnout two years beforehand. After he is contacted by a mysterious employer who offers him work transcribing conversations obtained through phone tapping, he accepts without asking himself any questions about the organisation’s aims. But while this simple job allows him to get back on his feet and get his life back on track, very soon it will nevertheless place him at the heart of a political plot, plunging him reluctantly into the brutal and bizarre underworld of the secret service.
