MONK OF THE SEA

synopsis

Ball, a 30-year old man from Taiwan, is attracted by Bangkok’s night life where parties, friends and alcohol flow freely. But according to the ancient tradition, a man has to spend a certain amount of time in a monastery to prove his maturity by facing the harsh rules of Buddhism. So first, Ball will have to stay in a quiet monastery surrounded by the sea for two weeks where he’ll have to subject himself to the spiritual guidance of monks.
