DO DONKEYS ACT?

by David Redmon, Ashley Sabin

synopsis

The Economist, BBC, New York Times, and Nature have described the 21st century as the Anthropocene — the “age of the human” — a new epoch defined by human devastation of the wild, natural world through acts of violence, domestication, and destruction. Sanctuary explores the broad ramifications of this epoch through the microcosm of care-work and placing viewers in the donkey’s skin.
