SAIGNEURS

by Vincent Gaullier, Raphaël Girardot

synopsis

The slaughterhouse. A place evoking powerful images, the metaphor of a society that crushes and shapes...the symbol of a working world that conceals its proletarians and its “dirty work.” The job. The worst job of all because it is tiresome, dangerous, underpaid and insecure...the worst because our consumer society repudiates it...the worst job belongs to the carver, tripe butcher, slaughterman, deboner, dresser, bloodletter... these are the occupations of the slaughterhouse.
