In a small town in the middle of nowhere, Edmond Zweck's funeral home is struggling to make ends meet. Zweck now only has two employees, his right-hand man, Georges, and young Eddy, who is new to the business. One fine morning, a dead body turns up at last, and their hope is renewed. Georges and Eddy are sent out to deliver the coffin to its final resting place. But they can't find the cemetery and get separated from the funeral procession, as the journey quickly turns into a fiasco.
