RAILWAY MEN
by Erige Sehiri
synopsis
The Tunisian railway workers assigned to Line #1 call it «La voie normale», because it is the only one built to international norms. But it is also the most neglected. Crossing the breath-taking landscapes of the North, the old locomotive has to be constantly patched up. Torn between their loyalty to the National railway company and their personal aspirations, a new generation of railway men and women are redefining the vision of their work.
