synopsis

Thomas, a teenager, and his mother, Anne, are always on the run from Thomas's father. When they settle in yet another town, Thomas encounters new pals, Jonas and the attractive Helene. Also Anne and Thomas' relations with the local second-hand dealer leads to a positive turn as they gain their self esteem and a little love comes their way. Just as the future looks bright Thomas's father reappears, but their stay in the little town has made its mark.
