UN CIELO IMPASIBLE
by David Varela
synopsis
Western area of Madrid. A place where one of the most bloody and deadly battles of the Spanish Civil War took place. A group of teenagers investigate, talk and debate about the testimonies of the soldiers who fought during those terrible days; they make the experiences of the veterans and the dead their own. Meanwhile, the film mutates, adapts and builds itself through their gaze: that of a new generation that opens up to dialogue and critically reviews the school and the historical memory of a country in permanent polarisation.
