Alberto is engaged to Ileana, but whenever he tries to marry her, his grandmother, Tina De Cupis, gets into trouble. She is the widow of a soldier and she is very fond of a medallion with his portrait. So when the medallion vanishes, Tina decides to find it at any cost. The policemen are the first to suffer from her decision.
