synopsis
Emidio Orlich is an officer in the Austrian army. Despite his Croatian origins and his role in the Austrian army, he has been raised up as an Italian. Soon the young man, who by the way fell for a widow, is accused of being a traitor. The consequences will be as intense, as the relationships between Italy and the Balkans has always been.
