synopsis

In 1997 Bologna, Giulia is the perfect wife to Paolo and the accomplished mother of teenagers Luca and Roberta. Compared to her mother Vera, her father Alessio, her sister, and her brother, she is even beyond perfection. Nonetheless, she unexpectedly breaks down right in the middle of the preparation of the traditional family Christmas meal and runs away from home.
