PERIPHERIC LOVE
by Luc Walpoth
synopsis
When Maria, a Mexican immigrant, becomes pregnant, she keeps silent, fearing that her husband Giorgio, who thinks he’s sterile, will suspect her of infidelity. This silence divides the couple. Between doubts and desires, each of them seeks the tenderness they can’t obtain from their partner in a stranger. Fascinated by these new acquaintances, their sentimental drifts lead them to the periphery of love, where only trust can prevent them from getting lost.
