STRAY DOGS
synopsis
A boiling hot summer night, a rock concert just finished, three stray dogs in the dark of the night. Rockstell is an immigrant peddler with an expiring residence permit, a romantic dreamer, so grated to the country that welcomed and hosted him. He travels around Italy on board of his yellow van, full of mystery and magic. Blues is an unemployed anarchist who has not found his way in life yet. He drives Rockstell’s van, because he doesn't have a driver's license, and he is his only unaware true friend. Leila is a “call girl” like a firefly without a glow. She is a woman with a difficult childhood, who finds her light and comfort with people she’d never seen before. It all happens in one night: friendship, understanding, awareness, fear, magic, and death.
