synopsis
Young Italian Michele, who has Ukrainian roots, goes to an abandoned Carpathian village to dispel the dust of his mother. Here lives his grandfather Michael, a former clown named "Buba". The relationship between Michael and Michele is accompanied by a series of strange events that turn serious things into tragicomedy and forever unite the once-divided fates of grandfather and grandson.
