DOGS DIE ALONE
by Paolo Pisanu
synopsis
Rudi lives on petty crimes in his small world. He is sixty and he has spent most of his life on his own. He is feared and respected, he knows everything about this small world of his, but he doesn’t know that anything you leave behind can sometimes catch up, grab you and crush you. When he finds himself having to take care of his daughter Susanna, he is forced to come to terms with himself. In a dark and violent wintery Sardinia, Rudi is the driving force of a dramatic tale of regret, unspoken words, missing gestures, absences and violence, a miserable tale about time passing and sparing no one.
