At the beginning of this story, Anton is a talented but fairly ordinary presenter at a small radio station. When his grandfather falls ill, he decides to leave for a career in Kyiv to pay for his operation. He soon becomes an employee of a shady business, where he manages to rise up the ranks and become its face. In the process, however, he becomes someone completely different from who he originally wanted to be.
