SISTER DEATH
by Paco Plaza
synopsis
In post-war Spain, a novice with extrasensory perception arrives at an old convent that has been converted into a school for girls, where she will be giving classes as a teacher. There, a series of strange events and inexplicable apparitions lead her to examine the place's past, uncovering a disturbing secret. Paco Plaza directs the prequel to Veronica (2017), which breathes the breakneck pace of a ghost train into religious terror.
