THE NORTHEAST WINDS
synopsis
In Stalin's hometown in Georgia, a group of nostalgic communists who dream of a return to the days before the fall of the Soviet Union are shocked when the city authorities order the removal of their hero's statue and try to resist this "sacrilege". A documentary that, at times, seems to border on fiction, with many hilarious situations and rather sad characters, about people so trapped in the past that they do not notice the world around them has irrevocably changed.
