synopsis

Despite a growing number of enemies and a target on his back, CEO of Deutsche Bank, Alfred Herrhausen has a vision to provide debt relief to the world’s poorest countries and broker a government-backed billion-dollar loan to the nearly bankrupt Soviet Union. By helping Gorbatchov Chancellor Kohl pursue the plan to bring the wall down; Herrhausen wants to open up new markets with NATOs biggest enemy. With the CIA, KGB, East Berlin and the RAF all watching his every move, the clock is ticking towards the banker’s own tragic downfall…
