synopsis
1946. Brigadier Gatta, a young “carabiniere”, is sent to the police station of a village on the neapolitan coastline. The war seems to have altered only in a marginal way the way of life of the small community. Neverthless, in Gatta’s mind the suspicion arises that a shadow looms on the village, there is a sequence of unexplainable deaths...
