synopsis

Seweryn, a 30-year-old musician, is about to sign a contract with a small music label. His life takes a radical turn after a concert when he becomes the victim of rape by Michael, a wealthy businessman. At first Seweryn can't remember what happened, but his body rebels and Seweryn loses his most important asset, his voice. Seweryn navigates this harrowing ordeal alone and does not share the truth with his girlfriend, Caro. In order to reconcile his feelings and repair their damaged relationship, his voicelessness and lack of energy to live, he has to confront a hidden trauma from the past, from his childhood days in Poland. Seweryn must deal with what he has carefully hidden and denied in his soul all his life...
