AL OTRO BARRIO
by Mar Olid
synopsis
Quim Gutiérrez, Sara Sálamo and María de Nati head the cast of this socially conscious comedy. Andrés, a big-shot tax evader, faces a hefty fine and something much worse: he’s made to move his office to the outskirts where, as fate would have it, his business was fraudulently registered. Mar Olid, a well-seasoned sitcom director, ventures into feature films with this remake of a French comedy that follows in the success of the culture-shock humour of the Spanish Affair saga... throwing class differences into the mix. Flat white-supping hipsters cross paths with cybercafé survivors; the well-to-do and those on the fringes, who are willing to help out even if you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth.
