N-EGO

by Eleonora Danco

synopsis

n-Ego is an intense, uninhibited exploration of the human condition—a journey through city streets where the director confronts a profound creative and existential crisis. In her search for authenticity, she immerses herself in diverse settings, meeting characters whose stories mirror her fears and desires. Each encounter becomes a reflection of her inner demons, turning the lives of these individuals into pieces of an emotional mosaic. The director, disguised as a de Chirico-like mannequin with her face covered by a stocking and a chest full of tranquilizer cartridges, is a marked and scarred character yet retains a childlike, reckless spirit. With evocative visuals, bold editing, and a rhythm that’s both dramatic and playful, n-Ego transcends reality, inviting the audience to reflect on their own existence within the labyrinthine chaos of Adult life.
