MY NAME IS DINGO

by Mari Rantasila

synopsis

Through the eyes of lead singer Pertti “Nipa” Neumann, the biopic tells the story of the explosive rise to fame of Finnish rock band Dingo, the Dingomania that ensued, and the dramatic end. Neumann’s personnal life is juxtaposed with the band’s most iconic hits, such as Levoton Tuhkimo, Autiotalo and Sinä ja minä. The film tells the story of a band that left an everlasting mark on Finland’s culture and music scene, the beginnings of Suomirock.
