CHILD OF DUST
synopsis
Sang is one of countless children left behind by American soldiers after the Vietnam War. Stigmatised and abandoned, he spends a lifetime longing for the father he never had. When he unexpectedly locates his gravely ill father in the United States, he becomes determined to meet him although he must pay a heavy price: leave his wife, daughter, and grandson behind in Vietnam. In an alien land, his dream of belonging turns into a reality he never expected, in a society that sees him as an outsider and in a family that never even knew he existed.
