BON VOYAGE, MARIE
by Enya Baroux
synopsis
Marie, an 80-year-old woman battling terminal cancer, has decided to end her life on her own terms. She embarks on a journey accompanied by her somewhat dysfunctional family and Rudy, a kind-hearted caregiver she’s just met. Unable to reveal her true intentions, Marie creates a story about an inheritance in Switzerland to convince her unreliable and distracted son Bruno, granddaughter Anna, and Rudy, to take a road trip in their old RV. But will Marie find the courage to reveal the true purpose of their journey as they approach Switzerland, and how might her family respond to the devastating truth?
