NATACHA (ALMOST) AIR HOSTESS

by Noémie Saglio

synopsis

France, 1963. Since she was a child, Natacha has dreamed of freedom and adventure. Her dream has a name: air hostess. Approaching the "advanced" age of 24 and not even married, Natacha jumps at an unexpected chance to work as a hostess on the Paris-New York flight. It feels like a dream come true, but before she can say "Please fasten your seatbelts," Natacha has to deal with a gang of thieves out to steal the Mona Lisa, being flown on loan to New York. Natacha cannot stand by. Natacha's hot pursuit of the thieves, with Walter as her scaredy-cat sidekick, takes her out to sea on the English Channel, to the French ...
