HAPPYLAND
by Evi Romen
synopsis
After many years and a modest music career in London, Helen(e) returns home. There, her mother runs the Happyland sports center. Helen encounters the ghosts of her youth in the person of Tom, her former partner on the stage and in life. Helen feels like a stranger in the idyllic rural setting until she meets young Joe who is just as passionate about horse breeding as Helen once was about her music career. At a party in the sports hall, the time has come for a talk with Tom.
