KARLA
synopsis
Karla is 12 years old when she runs away from home and reports her father to the police. She demands protection from his sexual assaults at a time when children are hardly ever listened to and abuse is trivialized as a “rough” parenting method. She relies on the help of Judge Lamy, who looks out for her.
