At the center of the story are two friends, to whom fate first gives the joy of becoming pregnant at the same time, only to then sweep them away in a tragic accident. Two husbands unable to face the double challenge of being fathers and widowers, decide to team up and help each other raise their children. Against all odds, a new family is born, an anomalous one for sure, but one that works great, and which is destined to be turned upside down when another woman enters the equation of their lives.
